Now I’m not gonna say this is a perfect album and this album isn’t full blown R&B! But every song is rooted in R&B. Dont look for Confessions (leave it in the past!). This album has a little bit of everything for EVERYBODY (Confessions fans included lol). Usher is an international superstar so he has fans in all corners of the world and this is the album that appeals every nook and cranny of his fanbase. With that said, appeasing everyone leads to lack of cohesion, which you can say about this album. BUT each song (minus 2 or 3) on its own is enjoyable, good or great! Melodically and arguably sonically, this is one of his best sounding albums. 5 stars for the excitement. 4 stars for the quality of album. I think this album deserves multiple listens for some people.
