This album is fun catchy & hypnotic. Try not to scream “My Kink is Karma” or “Pink Pony Club”. If you’re a man here to say, “I don’t get it,” honey, it’s not for YOU. I spin my vinyl constantly but am considering ordering the limited cassette version! Yeah, I love my analog. Physical media forever! Anyways, Chappell is the vibe. She is the moment. And I hope she is for a long-time to come. If y’all don’t like a woman for stating her boundaries, newsflash, you have B O U N D A R Y I S S U E S which is a red flag 🚩. Anyway, Chappell’s music is a green flag. “California” is a track on this album that is so heart-rending & beautiful. I cried. I am from the Midwest & that ish hit so hard. “Kaleidoscope”is another beautiful track filled with longing and isolation & her voice just transports you out of your body. “My Kink is Karma” is my favorite anthemic track, personally. I’m not a vengeful person, at all but this ish hits. I dance to “Pink Pony Club” in my kitchen while cooking and singing into my salt-shaker. This album is so fun, charming & beautiful. A journey of self discovery & if you can’t see that, I honestly feel bad for you. Well keep the light on at the Pink Pony Club & maybe, just maybe one day you’ll join us. Peace ✌️ ✨
